Footnotes
- Models not otherwise noted have Reed Switch. (Pot) is for Trim Pot
- The 1st run of the BLI E7's had w/Mars and w/o Mars using the same software. Also the
Reed switch was introduced during productiuon, hence the 4 choices above for the during initial E7 Releases, thus the four options shown above
- Specific Dash # option features will be posted in next update.
- This filename does not end in 's'. The only OEM firmware for 144 and 145 was version 7 and did not require Lucky Flash chip. Thus the upgrade firmware for 144 and 145 also does not require a Lucky Flash chip. The 144 and 145 firmware will run on any chip. Customers who have locomotives with 144 or 145 firmware do not need to purchase an upgrade chip. They can upgrade their locomotive's firmware directly using the Quantum Programmer.
- Most of these are the manufacturers' most recent locomotive releases and do not require the QSI Upgrade Chip for upgrading the sound files. The Quantum Programmer can be used. If you do not have access to the Quantum Programmer, you can still purchase an Upgrade Chip. A complete list of all QSI equipped locomotives is available. On this list all "Production Release" software designations ending in an "s" require an Upgrade Chip, those that do not have the "s" can be upgraded using the Quantum Programmer.
