I have just got into putting DCC in my engines, just put my first QSI board in my newest Gas turbine, it sounds great compared to the Digitrax chip I put in a few weeks ago.

Gerry & Tony,
Wow, thank you very much for the quick response and the new build! I have downloaded and installed the QuantumCVManager 2.1.0.5 and all appears to function properly. I must say I am impressed by all of your work and care.
Thanks again,
- Osman

Hi Guys, I LOVE your QSI decoders. The regulated throttle control works awesome and I love the fact that I can MU locomotives together with BEMF turned on without the locomotives fighting each other if they aren't perfectly speed matched.
- Mark

Josh, I programmed the loco last night using the CVs you provided and it worked great!!!! It also helped me to better understand the QSI system, which is awesome by the way. Thanks again for your time and help. Your customer service has been above and beyond. Many Thanks.
- Brian S.

Good morning

From St Augustine, FL: Greetngs!!! to Tony, Megan and all others who worked on my problem last month and before, plase accept my real thanks for bearing with me as we solved all those problems together. As of now, we have three QSI systems working, and working well, none of which would have been possible without you. And I appreciate you.

P.S. He now wants me to do a second one.

I just updated two PRR model locos to incorporate the new "MD Banshee" whistle. Nice work, QSI! That's a really great sounding whistle, eerie and haunting. Very well done--thank you

Attention: Josh
Installed the QSI update chips in the BLI M1a, SW7 and the Proto RS-27, and the result in all is simply amazing! From slow speed control, etc., the performance in each is astounding - I should have ordered them a long time ago. Starting to install the Rev U/W in the GP-9, and will send photos when done (if it's ok with you). I appreciate your prompt service on my order, and I am impressed with the quality and workmanship of the products. Really first class.
Thanks again,
- Chuck G.

Hi All, I received the upgrade software 320-5v7-41-31 with daylight whistle for my Sunset NP 4-8-4 and installed it. It sounds great. With my 4-6-4 Hudson, I have 2 great sounding whistles. Many thanks to all who worked on this software. MJK

I just wanted to write and compliment QSI soultions for all of the great work you guys have done over the past few years. I love both the Q1A and Q2 soundfiles and the fact that you constantly continue to upgrade them. That plus the flexibility I get using the quantum programmer makes for an unbeatable combination! Thanks and keep up the good work!
- Marc M.

That's a great idea [eNewsletter]! I signed up asap when I saw the news. BTW I'm really having fun with the Beta Q1A software. I have 16 of the best sounding GP-7's and 9's ever!!! Keep up the good work!

I didn't think I'd find a better sound decoder than Phoenix P5, but I have become a convert! One feature I'd love to see in a future firmware version is the ability to use the 'fancy ending' whistle for the final blast in the crossing whistle sequence. I have changed CV 53.6.0 (F4 when moving) to 154 making F4 work like a Phoenix decoder, with a grade crossing whistle. But I find no way to use the 'fancy ending' for the 4th blast (CV 55.154.6). Perhaps you could add CV 55.154.7 as a 0/1 to select the fancy ending option...Thanks!
P.S. I'm now waiting anxiously for your Shay sound files so I can convert my Shays from AirWire/Phoenix to QSI G-wire!!

I purchased 2 units [Athearn Turbines] and the recommended speakers for these massive units. On running them on a friends layout, the comment was "Bloody Hell that's good". I agree totally!

Thank you very much for the file, and the excellent service!

Hi! First off, let me say that I'm still relatively new to G scale and the use of QSI's Aristo chip, Gwire and CV Manager have been a wonderful experience and a painless intro into the Garden scale world. Thank you!

I want to thank you for your quick response. So many times emails are sent to corporations and no answer is returned. Kinda like voice mail. I appreciate the information. I got a hold of a manager and he assures me that I will have my gas turbine boards within two weeks. He apologized, something about how my partial order looked. It's nice to still be able to get things straightened out the way business is today. Thanks again. Happy Holidays.
- Glen

Josh & Jerry,
I just wanted to thank you guys for the great support in getting my DCC locos up and running. Attached is my latest video. Josh, I love the whistle in the G-Scale with the Aristo/Magnum setup, I really appreciate QSI replacing the board for me.
- Jay

I was at the ECLSTS and told the guy at the QSI booth how much I like the product - it's really excellent and the new steam sound upgrades are a real improvement.
- Mike

Managed to get hold of one of the upgrade chips and is now fitted in the loco, it is absolutely BRILLIANT !!! , a super item :-)
Cheers
- John

I've installed the upgraded steam files in 4 different G-Scale locos. It's a great improvement--really well done. Thanks for continually improving the product!

Hello,
First of all, I have to say I am very impressed with your sound systems that I have already installed in my locomotives. Second of all, I was wondering if you have replacement sound decoders for a BLI Paragon 1 Hudson. If you do not, then would a Revolution-U with 2 hb122r speakers work as a substitute. Any help is very much appreciated.
- Dan

I would not buy a locomotive that does not have a QSI sound system in it, I have 8 engines on my layout each one has a QSI sound system in it.I also have 2 quantum engineer system. Gret product QSI thank you.

Att- QSI
Dear sirs,

I had the opportunity to see, and listen to an HO scale model of a GP-40-2 FEC locomotive yesterday (6-10-2009) that Mr. Lee Wheelbarger brought over to my home. As an train engineer for FEC for over 37 years now, I have to say that was the most realistic sounding model I've ever heard. From the distinctive sounding horn and bell to the idling or sped up 645 engine, that engine sound made me think I was actually sitting in the cab.

QSI Solutions recorded not only the horns and bells of different FEC locos but has captured on audio, the numerous, individual sounds of our locomotives, whether GP-40s, SD-40s or the newer SD-70Ms including the subtleties of all the many engine sounds. QSI Solutions captured these different locomotives in digital audio which I can verify that the sounds are original recordings. I have heard similiar models at shows and from other individuals that had other roads and locomotives that often sounded a little unrealistic, but for FEC, these are exact, even down to engine making transition, as in our SD-40s.

Yours Truly,

A few days ago I received the QSI Universal Revolution sound decoder and a pair of speakers and enclosures that I had ordered several weeks ago. Last night I installed this stuff in my 10-year old Atlas O Scale SW-9 switcher. Wow!! It was so easy, and the sound is so great! And, while the engine was already a great runner on DC power, it is so much better under DCC control. This decoder is truly a great product.
Thank you,
- Dan P.

I really like the Quantums. Below is a link to a trio of Aristocraft Dash 9s with Quantum Aristos installed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvah0oJTaJA
I love how one can dial in the speed settings so precisely.
Thank you,
- John

Just wanted to send a note of appreciation for a job well done on the Quantum Revolution and the technical help supplied. I installed it on an Atlas RS11 two days ago. To my delight the sound was great and installation went smooth. Great job of documentation also. The RS11 is one of my favorite engines and it came to life with sound. Thanks again!
- Dave

Bought the QSI Programmer and 7 chips. Downloaded files, installed and programmed the chips this weekend. WOW - great job! While it was a very long wait for some of the sound files, it was worth the wait. Thanks again for such good work!
- Max

Hi...I ordered a bunch of QSI upgrade chips and the programmer for my BLI locomotives. ... The upgrade chips are very impressive. Installed easily and the locomotives run much better ...
- Ted G.

Hello, Two days ago I received my first couple of QSI Upgrade Chips and I just installed them in my 2 Wabash E7s. I expected an improvement but I was very surprised and am very excited about the upgraded sound and running functions; this is even better than I expected and very easy to change and re-install the Chips. My dad was a bit skeptical but he was also very impressed with the upgrade. Congrats on delivering such a great chip for a rather reasonable price and hope the chips for the BLI E6 & BLI E8 / E9 will arrive soon. Have a nice weekend.
