Plug'n'Play Aristo G Q2 and Magnum Sound Decoder Shipping in July

We are pleased to announce that the QSI "Quantum" PnP Aristocraft aftermarket DC, DCC and GWire locomotive decoders are on schedule and will be released in late July in time for the NMRA National Train Show.
Also, as an unannounced surprise, we are releasing the generic Quantum Magnum. The Magnum's compact generic format is suitable for and can be installed into many "G" scale models. The convenient screw terminals provide the opportunity for "G" gaugers to have the complete inventory of QSI sound options for all their locos at a reasonable price, compatible with DC, DCC and GWire.
The Magnum uses the Aristo decoder and a conversion plug assembly to create the generic format. Therefore it is identical in features and slightly taller than the Aristo unit. Both units are the new Q2 format so software upgrades and programming can be done using the Quantum Programmer that was released in May.

After several years of planning, QSI has finally provided an impressive prototype and the design package for us to build the easy plug-in DC/DCC/GWire Aristocraft G scale locomotives sound decoder.
The prototype was recently demonstrated at the York, PA G scale meet and was well received by the crowd.
The Aristocraft G will be the first of many planned aftermarket retro-fit DC/DCC sound decoders. Other N, HO, O and G scale versions are also planned. These include, in order of release, the Atlas "0" scale, the Quantum Revolution, HO/N, the UCS-2 for conventional AC and the USA Trains G scale.
Q2 designates the next generation of QSI Technology.
